Dementia Care

Some of Angelica’s favorite programs in the dementia units are art and music therapy. Our cooking program involves encourages patients to take part in cooking demonstrations and lessons, followed by enjoying the food that has been prepared.  We also supply the dementia units with sensory supplies and equipment for sensory stimulation.  Angelica has purchased flat screen TVs for many of the units and a large fish tank for the common area of one of the dementia units that relaxes the patients.
