Special Events

Angelica hosts a number of special events, including an annual Sweetheart Ball, Carnival, Harvest Ball and Christmas caroling party. In addition to our own events, we supplement the hospitals’ entertainment budgets so they can enhance their programs with special food, music, and decorations.

Throughout the year, we partner with high schools and performing arts groups to bring entertainment to the hospitals.  Hairdressers, manicurists, make-up artists and massage therapists donate their time to pamper the patients and residents when we host our Beauty and Wellness Days.  Karaoke events and movie nights with popcorn are also very popular. 

We host annual Art Shows that feature paintings, sculpture, knitwear and poetry.  Roosevelt Island Visual Art Association (RIVAA) Gallery also periodically shows the work of our artists in their gallery on Roosevelt Island's Main Street.
