A Day of Care and Connection: Spa Day at Coler

On June 25, 2024, Angelica Programs hosted a Spa Day at Coler Hospital, bringing warmth, relaxation, and human connection to residents through an afternoon of pampering and joy.

In partnership with Fusion Salon, a beloved local barbershop on Roosevelt Island, and volunteers from FreedomCare, residents were treated to haircuts, grooming, hand massages, and personal care services — all offered with genuine smiles and attentive care.

The event transformed Coler’s community room into a tranquil retreat filled with laughter, conversation, and the soothing sounds of music and care. For many residents, it wasn’t just about looking good — it was about feeling seen, valued, and cared for.
